Ecoflam Combustion technologies

Advanced Solutions for Low NOx Combustion

Increasingly stringent emissions requirements are driving demand for combustion technologies capable of supporting lower NOx levels across heating and industrial applications.
Drawing on decades of experience in burner development and customisation, Ecoflam has developed combustion solutions designed to meet the needs of applications where emissions performance is a key consideration.

Research, Testing and Validation

At Ecoflam's research and development facility in Resana, Italy, engineers are able to simulate real operating conditions and evaluate burner performance under controlled testing environments.
These activities support the development and validation of combustion technologies, including Low NOx combustion heads and external Flue Gas Recirculation (FGR) systems.

FGR Technology

External Flue Gas Recirculation (FGR) is designed to reduce NOx emissions by recirculating a controlled mixture of flue gas and combustion air to the combustion head.
By influencing the combustion process and flame temperature, FGR technology can support significantly reduced NOx levels compared with conventional combustion configurations, depending on burner design and operating conditions.
Based on application requirements, Ecoflam offers a complete range of monoblock and duoblock burners equipped with FGR technology.
Under specific operating conditions, FGR systems can achieve NOx emissions below 30 mg/kWh.
